Job Role: Field Engineer - PLC knowledgeSalary: £40,000-£48,000pa + Travel (OTE - £55,000)Location: Kettering, NorthamptonshireHours: Monday-Friday, 08.00am-17.00pm - Days onlyJob Type: Full Time PermanentThe Company:My Client has become a well-established Commercial & Industrial sector service provider based around Northamptonshire. Due to recent expansion, they are welcoming a Field Service Engineer to service industrial client sites around Northamptonshire & the UK. The package: Company Vehicle Mobile Phone Excellent Base Salary Pension, Health Scheme, Life Insurance 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (33 days) Travel time from home to site + fuel card Medical/Dental Insurance Further training & qualifications funded creating a progressive environment with scope for personal developmentDay to day Visit Industrial sites in predominantly within a 30 mile radius of Northamptonshire with occasion National visits (All expenses + travel paid) Attend breakdowns & repairs on industrial machinery alongside programme PLCs (Print, Recycling, FMCG, Conveyors, Agricultural) Use of Company vehicle + Fuel Card Electrical & Mechanical fault finding on industrial machinery, this could include Motors, Gearboxes, Compressors, Inverters No Callouts or Weekend Rotas - Overtime is available readily if you wish Deliver a professional manner when liaising with clients at site You will need to have: Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQs, City & Guilds) A good working knowledge of programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemans or other) - ESSENTIAL Electrical Bias with mechanical capabilities (60/40 - 70/30) Electrical & Mechanical Fault Finding knowledge on manufacturing machinery. Previous experience in automation/FMCG/Printing/Recycling/ Manufacturing as a maintenance engineer or field engineer.
