Job Description

EstimatorRushden£30,000-£35,000We are currently looking for an Estimator to join our Highways Contractor clients to be based at their depot near Bedford with a salary between £30,000 - £35,000.Responsibilities for an Estimator

  • As an Estimator you will review tender documents
  • Prepare construction budgets and labour profiles.
  • Keep am accurate record of all tenders submitted.
  • Estimator help obtain bids for new contracts.
  • Review and provide proposals as an Estimator.
  • Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure budgets are kept.
  • Supporting buying activities
Requirements for an Estimator
  • Analytically minded as an Estimator.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Completing tender review for all estimates
  • Estimator with experience in completing tender handovers.
  • Understanding of a clients needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Estimating experience with preparing and submitting quotes.
  • A level or equivalent in Mathematics
