Job Description

The office is friendly and relaxed and they have a dress down culture.They are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join the team as an apprentice. If you ready to embark on a dynamic career path that combines your passion for data with learning technical expertise then this could be the opportunityyou have been waiting for.You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of skilled professionals, gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system maintenance, supporting internal customers and data analysis.   • The apprenticeship training will immerse the apprentice into their role and will develop their communication, collaboration, problem solving, data literacy and adaptability skills amongst many others
  • Working in conjunction with the DandA System Support Administrator and the wider Data and Analytics team
  • Assisting the DandA System Support Administrator with supporting their applications user base
  • Supporting existing application and compliance processes
  • Developing and leading Data and Analytics related projects
  • Connecting with DandA experts internal and external to the company
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal and external customers in a professional manner and according to relevant support agreements
  • Supporting and maintaining good relationships with other colleagues
  • Working to deadlines and responding in a flexible way to the changing demands of the department and the Business
  • Assisting in the provision of training
  • General admin duties
  • Other duties as required as it relates to IT security management and risk assessment
You will need the following skills:

Entry requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade. Acceptable qualifications include:
  • Two A levels in one or more similar subject.*
  • Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.
  • International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject.
  • BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.
  • A work experience route (2-3 years) in a similar subject-related role.
*Similar subject relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with Digital and Technology Solutions. Typically this would be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology,Networking, Software Engineering, etc.You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.For more information please visit the UK ENIC website. Working week:Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:15pmFuture prospect:The company still has some of their former apprentices working with them and you too could be offered a full-time permanent position in the company’s Data and Analytics Department on successful completion of your apprenticeship and be offered further trainingand development.As well as having the potential to work from home at agreed times with regular target-based salary reviews.Important information:QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education. To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) forthe last 3 consecutive years.
