Acorn is recruiting for Warehouse Team Leaders to fulfil temporary to permanent vacancies on behalf of their client, located on Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn.The company offer excellent working conditions and genuine opportunities for progressionThere are 2 roles available:* One working afternoon Sunday 12pm to 8.30pm and Monday to Friday 1pm to 9.30pm* The other working nights Sunday to Thursday 9pm to 5.30amThe rate of pay for the positions is £11.44 per hourAny applicants must have previous warehouse and supervisory experience along with excellent communication and it skills, the ability to effectively prioritise and manage workload and a positive can do attitudeMain Duties/Responsibilities:* Undertake all Warehouse Supervisory functions including Goods in, Checking, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Marshalling, Loading and any other ancillary duties associated with these tasks.* Manage the upkeep of any Mechanical Handling Equipment to Company standards.* To check equipment used daily and report faults to a Manager.* The operation of any other ancillary equipment as required and trained to do.* The movement, marshalling and sortation of all site loose equipment to include pallets, stillages and tote boxes.* The operation of R.F equipment once trained and authorised to do so. * To follow the principles of good hygiene and housekeeping whilst performing above duties and to supervise cleaning duties as required.* To be alert to the security and safety of the stock and equipment in the warehouse and report any irregularities or problems to a manager.* Ensure the integrity of our own and our customers property by following Company security and search procedures.* To assist in the counting of stock when required.* Attend any training/development sessions when required as part of your own career/personal development.* Ensure that Health, Safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.* Operate in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and legislative requirements.* Any other duties as may be assigned to meet the varying needs of the business.The benefits of working for Acorn at this particular client are as follows:* Weekly pay* Accrued holidays* Pension contributions* Acorn Rewards Scheme* Dedicated Account Manager* Free parkingThere are immediate starts available so please apply straight away!Acorn Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
