Job Description

The role of Transport Operations Supervisor will include being responsible for all aspects of safety, service, cost, people management and the achievement of appropriate KPIs.Client DetailsThe client are one of the UKs largest 3PL companies working across a broad spectrum of contracts comprising of everything from e-commerce to industrial.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the role of Transport Operations Supervisor will be;

  • Making sure the operation is fully compliant with legislation and company tachograph policy.
  • Making sure the department performs within budget.
  • Ensure compliance within Health & Safety legislation and also within the operating licence.
  • Ensuring effective returns processes for clients stock.
  • Building great customer relationships.
ProfileThe successful candidate for the role of Transport Operations Supervisor will be;
  • Experienced working in an operations environment, covering transport and warehouse operations.
  • Computerised scheduling and driver management knowledge.
  • Be experienced in supervising a team.
  • A good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Experienced in using Microlise.
  • The desire to develop and progress in the role.
Job OfferThe successful candidate for the role of Transport Operations Supervisor will receive;
