You will make a daily impact, and quickly see the results of your work.We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and the chance to be part of a fast-moving company.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Primarily, supporting the Supply Chain and Formulations Planner in all areas related to supplier orders, logistics and storage sites (to include).* Raise and process purchase orders for the Solvents business unit in the internal system; manage intervening processes through to delivery point.* Become conversant with stock level monitoring, HMRC/EMCS compliance systems, documentation, import duty/tariffs, etc and process requirements for EU and non-EU suppliers.* Liaise closely with Senior Co-ordinators, Transport Dept. and the depots with regards to any stock matters, particularly for unexpected and unplanned requirements.* Update and manage the Booking-In Schedule for purchase orders due, in accordance with schedule guidelines. Awareness of supplier stock locations and delivery lead times.* Support and coordinate incoming supplier emails via management of the supply chain inbox.* Communicate with customers in the event of supply-chain delays despatching sales orders.* Providing cover as required for Customer Services sales order entry and related customer activities (to include):* Receive and process customer purchase orders on to our system; manage intervening processes through to delivery.* Become conversant with HMRC/EMCS compliance systems, documentation, import duty/free trade and process requirements for EU and non-EU suppliers.* Support and coordinate incoming customer emails via management of the inbox.* Maintain and update customer information in the CRM.* Support the Account Managers with customer information, feedback, observations, which may have bearing on future business opportunities.* Maintain and update customer-specific regulatory product files.* When required, attend meetings with members of the sales team regarding customer special instructions, trends, product lines and any other related subjects arising.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEEssential Requirements: * Top performer who is comfortable in a busy office environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, poise and strong analytical skills;* Strong multi-tasking capability;* Ability to plan and prioritise workload; work under temporary pressure;* Strong Outlook email skills, and confidence with daily use of Word and Excel;* Ability to deliver impeccable attention to detail and accuracy;* Structured thinking; self-starter;* Ability to exceed deadlines;* Excellent interpersonal skills and an effective team player;* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Desired Requirements:* Experience of working in supply chain/planning role desirable;* Experience of working in a busy, fast-moving commercial office environment;* Experience of working with CRM and Sage systems;* Experience working at a chemical company or a chemical distribution company;* Have a University Degree (BA/BS) in a field of study in science related degree (preferred)* Driving licence preferredJOB DETAILS* Job Details: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months (subject to satisfactory progress reviews after 3 and 6 months)* Hours: 35 hours per week* Salary: Competitive salary* Location: Runcorn, CheshireTo apply for this role, please apply with an up to date CV detailing how your experience matches the requirement of the role.Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application.
