Job Description

Service Manager – Competitive Salary – RuncornThe RoleSPIE UK, a smart engineering and technology-driven solutions provider for the built environment, are looking for a Service Manager to provide total operational control for the SPIE Fire and Security Service Department in their local branch.Successful candidates will manage Client Managers and Field Operatives, maintaining the excellent service provision that helps SPIE maintain its leading status within the industry.The key responsibilities of a Service Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • To be responsible for ensuring that all customers, both external and internal, alongside all other visitors, receive a five-star service.
  • Controlling maintenance and repair service for all clients within the region.
  • Managing all service field staff within the region.

  • Relevant Business/Management experience, with experience working with senior management.
  • Experience in supply chain management and Health, Safety and Environment management.
  • The successful candidate must be articulate and in possession of strong customer service skills.
  • The successful candidate must be resourceful and organised, with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Computer literacy including: Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Core competencies include: team-working, planning, organising, commercial awareness, risk management, communication skills, self-motivation and customer awareness.
