Senior Development Scientist (Formulation)RuncornSalary c£27,000Permanent roleWe are working with a Pharmaceutical Contract Research / Manufacture company. They are based in the North West of the UK and one of their specialisms is formulation of pharmaceuticals delivered via inhalation. They are seeking a Senior Development Scientist who will be responsible for many aspects of this formulation activity.What you’ll do:You will be responsible for working on formulation development projects and reporting to the Product Development Manager, this will involve leading projects and being the point of contact for clients. You will be preparing formulations, developing processes and taking pharmaceutical formulation from small scale to large scale. This will involve working across departments and you will matrix-manage resources as and when required. The role is expected to be 50% lab based and 50% office or off-site.Your background:We are either seeking an experienced formulator, who has worked in the pharmaceutical industry or a PhD level candidate who has completed their thesis in this same field. We do not necessarily require industrial experience from PhD level candidates, the technical formulation experience is the important factor.All pharmaceutical formulation backgrounds are naturally of interest.
