Job Description

Acorn has an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA Auditor to provide additional support for their busy FMCG client in RuncornResponsibilities

  • Conducting Line Checks on Critical Control Points to ensure accurate production and packing of products.
  • Conducting regular GMP audits to ensure compliance across all lines.
  • Product taste testing and lab testing of Raw Materials and Finished Products.
  • Supporting the Quality Systems Manager with project work.
  • Performing hygiene checks to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Producing reports on all testing and audits conducted.
    • Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role (FMCG experience advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Food hygiene/HACCP qualification advantageous.
  • Able to work well within a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to find areas for improvement.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to make and communicate decisions.
    • This is initially a temporary ongoing role which may lead to a permanent position moving forwardHours of work are a rotational 3 shift pattern 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm to 6pm Monday to FridayRate of pay is £11.67 per hour with additional overtime rates payableWeekly pay, pension, holiday pay, free parking, free drinks and meals in the canteen and a dedicated Account Manager.Apply straight away as we have an immediate start available.
