Primary HLTA - RuncornThe Supply Register are proud to be working with Wade Deacon Trust which have a number of schools (Primary and Secondary) affiliated with them. This vacancy is for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ideally on a full time basis for one of our Runcorn-basedPrimary Schools. If you are a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant (TA) or a Cover Supervisor with Primary experience, you would also be encouraged to apply.The role of a HLTA is similar to that of a Teaching Assistant with the occasional added responsibilities of covering classes such as PPA cover or covering short term sickness absences. Experience of being the focal point of a classroom is essential.Responsibilities:- Working on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils who require additional support.- Occasionally covering the usual class teacher, delivering pre-set work and being the focal point of a class.- Behaviour management.Requirements:- Experience being the focal point of a classroom setting.- Strong behaviour management skills.- DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).Benefits:- Great rates of pay, paid weekly (PAYE).- Flexible days to work around you.- Access to permanent opportunities within the Trust.Please apply now or call The Supply Register for more information.
