Eden Brown are working with a Secondary school based in Runcorn, Cheshire. They require a Pastoral Support Officer to work at their school.Pastoral Support Officer - £85 per dayThis is a vibrant secondary academy, who are looking for a candidate who can really make a real difference to the lives of young students.This role is ideal for any candidates with experience supporting young people with Social Emotional Mental Health issues and behavioural difficulties.This pastoral support role will involve working with young people aged 11-16 on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting them in lessons and outside of the classroom. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role that is proactive and an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to lives of young students. You will assist and will work alongside the Head of Year. Ensuring the pupils attend lessons and school and be responsible for chasing up on attendance.We are looking for a passionate candidate who has experience working with 11-16 year olds in an educational setting.Candidates will be asked to stand in from time to time to perform Cover Supervisor duties, covering certain classes.Candidates must hold a current DBS with the update service and be able to start as soon as possibleEden Brown Education is an equal opportunities employer.
