Job Description

Immediate starts available in Runcorn.Acorn is looking for Warehouse Operatives to work in a busy distribution centre in Manor Park in Runcorn.Job role will include:

  • Order picking using a headset system
  • Packing
  • Labelling
  • Palletising
  • Shrink wrapping
  • Other ad hoc warehouse tasks
    • Requirements of the successful candidate:
  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment would be an advantage.
  • Manual handling experience
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands on can do attitude
    • The successful candidates must be able to work 5 days out of 7 as there is some weekend working involved.Hours of work are 5.30am to 2pmThe role may involve working in a chilled environment and can also involve some heavy liftingThe rate of pay is £9.30 per hour.The roles may become permanent after successful completion of a training periodApply straight away as there are immediate starts available.
