Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is an integral part of the Management Accounts team which has responsibility for accurate and timely financial reporting for the Divisional Management team and consolidated divisional reporting to the Group Financeteam as well as development of robust financial controls, and consistent efficient financial processes as the trading division continues to grow.Client DetailsOur client is one of the biggest UK logistics companies within Appleton Thorn. The finance team has responsibility for all operational finance and reporting for the company with commercial analysis and procurement also operating from the same department, creating a diverseenvironment with opportunity to develop wider financial skills and experienceDescription

Production of divisional and site level monthly management accounts including responding to queries from Directors, Managers and Group Finance and providing additional variance analysis
Coordination of information and reporting for budget and forecasting cycles, including sensitivity analysis for assumption changes
Production of information required for statutory reporting periods and to support internal and external audit processes
Production of both routine and ad hoc additional reporting as required to support the business manage the business, customer and key supplier relationships and adhere to corporate responsibility requirements
Regular reviews with site management teams in all aspects of finance
Production of VAT and Corporate tax submissions
Improvements to key internal controls processes including fraud prevention, segregation of duties and asset protection
Ad hoc project work
Developmental support to less experienced members of the team

Profile

3+ years practical experience of management / financial accounting and reporting to tight deadlines.
Advanced excel skills are required to extract and manipulate large volumes of data from multiple sources
CIMA, ACCA, ACA part qualified, finalist or extensive relevant experience (QBE)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good Problem- solving ability Self Organised
Flexibility to respond to changing and emergent priorities

Job Offer

Salary £33k to £40K depending on level experience.
