Job Description

Head of FinanceRuncornUp to £70,000Full Time and Part Time (3 days per week) considered.Working for an established and growing SME your tasks will be varied and include taking ownership of the production of accurate and timely finance reports including but not limited to:

    • Management Accounts
    • Project Reporting
    • Short- and long-term Financial Forecasting including cash flow.
    • Annual Budgeting
    • KPIs
  • To add value to the organisation by streamlining and automating KPI reporting and challenging where appropriate.
  • To be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team contributing to business strategy and decision making beyond the finance function.
  • To assist in ensuring the company is compliant with internal and external regulations.
The successful candidate will be:
  • Energetic & forward thinking.
  • Self-motivated, hands on and hard working. Experience working for an SME, is absolutely key.
  • Able to build trust by operating with integrity, discretion, and professionalism in role.
  • Able to effectively communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Not afraid to question / challenge.
  • Qualified Accountant with at least two years PQE.
  • Advanced in use of Excel / financial modelling.
  • Ideally, experience of working with data analysis tools such as Pan Intelligence / Power BI.
