Job Description

My Runcorn based client is looking to recruit a Cash Sheet Associate to work on a 6 month contract on a hybrid basis, being based in the office for 2 days a week. The role of the Cash Sheet Associate is to record and control all sales, spend and cash bankingfor the Client. The role is offered on a full time basis Monday - Friday and is offering a salary of £21,672.The Key Responsibilities of the role include: * Record and reconcile all branch counter sales and cash banking in an accurate and timely manner* Review, resolve and report all cash differences and report any fraudulent transactions* Identify potential irregularities in branch data and notify the Treasury Supervisor* Provide daily support to branch staff with regards to EPOS till operation, reporting figures, banking cash and account customers* Contribute to internal and external audits as required* Perform any other duties, as requiredKey Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:* Experience reconciling cash tills would be an advantage* Experience of working to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment whilemaintaining excellent attention to detail* Proven experience of handling large volumes of data using Excel* Experience of collaborative working across finance and operational functionsKnowledge and Skills* A sound understanding of retail cash handling would be an advantage* Strong interpersonal skills* Confident, enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude* Excellent communication skills, incorporating written and verbal* Forward thinking with attention to detail.* Excellent analytical skills.* Ability to work with a collaborative and open approach* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.* Financial Systems knowledge and experience, preferably SAP.If you feel this is a role that you would have the relevant experience for this position, please apply immediately.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
