Education Solutions are currently seeking an Engineering Technician for a full time, temporary position, delivering learning to full-time students on their Engineering course.This role is based in Halton, Cheshire and is to work in an outstanding college that has state of the art facilities and enables each student to gain invaluable skills.Engineering Technicians in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Sector are predominantly involved in highly skilled, complex work and must, as a minimum be able to:-Apply safe systems of working.-Make a technical contribution to either the design, development, quality assurance, manufacture, installation, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of products, equipment, systems, processes or services-Apply proven techniques and procedures to solve engineering/manufacturing problems-Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills in communicating both technical and non-technical informationDo you have an interest in Engineering, want to support in a large college and gain invaluable skills whilst supporting the lecturers to deliver the curriculum This could be the role for you.Role responsibilities:To support in the delivery of the Engineering courses - manufacturing and motor vehicleSupport the team with lessons and manage the learning environment.Differentiate effectively so that all learners can progress.Support all students that need help either with the practical side or academically.You must:Have experience working with young people or Engineering experience.Have at least Level 2 in Maths and EnglishHave a current DBS or be able to apply for one.If this sounds of interest please send your CV and work experience to Katy at Education SolutionsEducation Solutions is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
