Job Description

Data & Pricing Support Co-ordinator KEY SKILLS: HIGHLY NUMERATE AND ADVANCED EXCELOpportunity overview:

Role overview:The company is currently experiencing significant growth thanks to a strong proposition, a high performing and motivated team, and favorable market conditions that are set to continue for the foreseeable. The company recently recorded its strongest ever yearof growth and performance in 2022 and is on track to far exceed this growth in 2023.The team, our technology and business are evolving at a rapid pace to accommodate this growth. Having recently appointed several new roles, we have identified an opportunity for a co-ordinator resource to primarily manage engaging our clients to discuss, arrangeand apply increases to the pricing of our clients dental plansa process that is encouraged once per annum.This function is currently managed between the Business Development and Client Services team but with the scale of our ever-increasing client base it makes sense to have a dedicated resource to be proactive in managing what is a vital element of our ongoingclient support and service.Alongside managing this key responsibility, the co-ordinator may support in other areas related to both new client onboarding and existing client relationships, as detailed herein.Full training will be provided on understanding all the necessary elements of the processes and knowledge surrounding dental plans.Responsibilities:Client price increase management (primary focus)
  • The anniversary of clients price increases varies and falls throughout every month of the year, ensuring a steady stream of workload, albeit with there being one or two busier periods across the year
  • Liaise with clients to discuss and advise on any increases to their dental plans on an annual basis. Adopting a proactive approach to encourage clients to increase their plan prices regularly, taking a little bit and often method
  • Ensure this liaison is managed in a timely and well organised fashion, affording plenty of time for all steps of the process to be managed without any pressure on any party
  • Conduct acid tests to ensure any price increases that clients apply are reasonable and commercially sound
  • Liaise with clients to draft communications to advise patients of any increase and arrange the e-shot and/or mailing fulfilment should the client wish for us to manage the patient communication on their behalf (applicable in the majority of instances).Ensure such communications are accurate, proofread and signed off by clients
  • Apply the applicable changes to any plan prices in our online management portal, adjusting direct debit values accordingly at the appropriate time
  • Liaising with our design team and clients to adjust promotional material to reflect any price increases
  • Advise on any capitation plan re-banding process where necessary and support the practice to ensure this is conducted as required
  • Being proactive in keeping a clients plan offerings in good order e.g. scrapping redundant plans
  • Supporting clients and being proactive in encouraging capitation to maintenance plan conversions
  • Record all engagement in relation to price increase liaison on our central CRM platform.
Other duties
  • Checking client websites to ensure plan related information and promotion is accurate and effective
  • Being proactive in encouraging client practices to publish on their website / make available to a patients terms and conditions associated with their plans, providing guidance templates and recording the clients approach to this on CRM
  • Keeping our asset library version history up to date for communication templates, as market conditions change or systems and processes develop
  • Support in delivering virtual or remote training sessions to dental practices via Microsoft Teams or Zoom
  • Other duties related to client onboarding, including but not limited to:
    • Obtaining patient data from practices and where necessary advising on how to export such data
    • Sorting and manipulating data in the necessary format related to practices switching from another provider or converting from NHS to private
Experience, personal profile and key competencies requiredThe ideal candidate should be extremely well organised and able to prioritise work. They will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to play a positive role in a happy team environment. They should be good funable to have a laugh and the craic,whilst getting their head down to work efficiently and effectively to deliver great results.
  • Exposure to the dental industry is advantageous but not required
  • Efficiency, accuracy, prioritization, and attention to detail are vital
  • Excellent IT skillsconfident in the use of Microsoft office programs
  • Extremely confident in dealing with data and Microsoft Excelthis is key skill requirement
  • Highly numerate and articulate
  • An eye for detail and strong literacy with the ability to proofread
  • Confident in the use of web-based applications
  • Dealing with mailing fulfilment would be advantageous
  • A strong communicatorable to interact effectively with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders. Also comfortable in presenting and challenging
  • Able to follow process efficiently and to suggest and apply process improvements where possible
  • Credible in representing the company to clients and other stakeholders
  • A team player with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness and ability to learn on the job following initial training
