Job Description

Immediate starts available in Runcorn.Acorn is looking for Assembly Operatives to work for their busy manufacturing client in Runcorn.Job role will include:

  • Assembly of hydraulic valves in line with SOPs
  • Testing of assembled products
  • Completion of paperwork
  • Painting and packing of the finished product
  • Warehousing, picking and line feeding of production parts
  • Operation of component wash
  • Repacking work as required
    • Requirements of the successful candidate:
  • Manual handling experience
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands on can do attitude
  • Flexible attitude required to work in any of the company departments including stores, assembly, testing, paint and dispatch
    • The successful candidates must be able to work to work a rotational 3 shift pattern.The rate of pay is £9.38 per hour basic rate, plus a shift allowance, equating to £10.41 per hour for am and pm shifts and £10.89 per hour for night shiftThese are ongoing temporary positions which may lead to permanent roles after successful completion of all training and 12 weeks service on siteApply straight away as there are immediate starts available.
