Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team in Runcorn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.Client DetailsOur client is a prominent player in the retail industry and boasts a sizeable employee base.   • Process and record transactions and invoices for the business.
  • Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions and ensure all control accounts are reconciled.
  • Update and maintain the general ledger and Accounts Receivable ledger.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Assist with auditing tasks when required.
ProfileA successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
