Job Description

An Accounts Payable Clerk is required to join a busy finance team in Runcorn, bringing their expertise in Accounting & Finance to help streamline operations.Client DetailsThis organisation is a prominent player in the retail sector, with a large workforce spread across the country.   • Perform daily accounts payable duties including invoice processing and payment - using SAP
  • Assist in monthly account closing and financial reporting
  • Maintain vendor files and reconcile vendor statements
  • Provide support to the accounting department as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Handle vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
ProfileA successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
  • A strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software - SAP
