Acorn is recruiting an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning company who are looking to expand their service team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be based in South Wales as most of the sites the Engineer will be expected to cover will be in the specific area they are based. You will be performing installations and planned and reactive service works to repair small to medium commercial refrigeration equipment such as refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines and bottle coolers, also air conditioning works will be part ofyour remit. Position Requirements:* Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems * Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines and bottle coolers. * Knowledge of air conditioning service works * NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning * Safe Handling of Refrigerants or F-Gas * Full Clean UK Driving LicenceWorking hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 1 hour for lunch. At least once a week you will have to work an evening as some stores wont allow work to take place whilst their open. You will be on a call out rota once in every 7 weeks. You will get an extra £75 for being on call and paid for any additional hours worked.
