Job Description

We need a Quality Engineer, Job Type: Permanent, Salary IRO £35,000.00 + BenefitsMonday to Friday, Location: Ruislip Middlesex, Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Company Pension Scheme, Overtime Available.Working within a wide range of industries including the Aerospace, Defence, Electronics, Medical, Railway and Water Engineering world and due to continued growth, we are now searching for an additional Quality Engineer to Join the team. Must Haves

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015/FAI/PFMEA/8D/CAPA.
  • Good communication skills with suppliers and customers.
  • The ability to read and extrapolate information from mechanical drawings
General Responsibilities
  • Investigate INTERNAL non-conformities raise reject reports and record Containment, Correction, Root cause, Corrective Action, and effectiveness of Corrective Action, and take Preventive Action where appropriatesupported by Quality Manager.

  • Investigate EXTERNAL(Suppliers) non-conformities reject reports/concession reports and liaise with supplier to instruct them to record Containment, Correction, Root cause, Corrective Action and effectiveness of Corrective Action, and take Preventive Actionwhere appropriatesupported Quality Manager
  • Implement and distribute work instructions and proceduressupported by Quality Manager.
  • Monthly monitoring of quality related issues i.e. Preventive Measures monitoringsupported by Quality Manager.
  • Delivery documentation: check for typos, revision levels, duplicated serial numbers and uploading where required including adding test results to COC`scover for Quality Manager
  • Uploading of quality documents to customer portal sites - cover for Quality Manager
  • Point of contact for customer SCARs recording investigation, containment, correction, root cause, corrective action, preventive action and effectiveness of corrective actionsupported by Quality Manager.
  • Scanning and maintaining electronic copies of Operational check sheets.
  • Issuing of Operational Check Sheets.
