Job Description

Assembly Worker & Injection Moulding Machine Operator Pay £10.50 per hour36 hours per week, 4 days Mon - Thurs (variable by arrangement), 0830hrs-1800hrs withhr lunchContributory Pension (5% Employer Contribution)Location - Rugeley, Trent ValleyEstablished some 25 years ago, Injectaplas LTD is a plastic injection moulding manufacturer of industrial wheels based in Rugeley, Staffordshire. (Please only apply if you live within a commutable distance of this location).The role will involve assembly operation and assist the Production Manager to provide continuity of production & quality of products. On occasion, support to the mould shop may be required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out assembly work of wheel products
  • Packing & wrapping finished products
  • Monitoring quality and quantities throughout the production process
  • Assist with management of materials needed throughout production
  • Communicate with the team and production manager in order to keep jobs running
  • Ensure Production Area is tidy, clean and safe during their shift
Additional duties when required
  • Monitor and maintain moulding machines while they are in production.
  • Complete product quality checks
  • Keep scrap and machine downtime to a minimum
This job description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and you will be asked to perform other tasks day to day as and when required.The Candidate:Qualifications/experience required
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with assembly work
  • Relevant experience with Injection moulding machines would be beneficial
  • Current counterbalance fork lift truck licence not required but an advantage
