A great company to work for with significant recent growth and a fantastic business culture are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis.This exciting Production Supervisor opportunity will see you working hands on with your team whilst also providing guidance and training where required. The Production Supervisor role:- Lead, organise and plan daily operations within a busy press shop manufacturing environment. - You will ensure through effective supervision and organisation that production within the press shop is completed on time and to quality standards agreed and expected. - Operation and supervision of punch and CNC press machinery- Manage team absence, disciplinary and performance reviews alongside the company HR function. - Responsible for the performance of the press shop organising work to ensure a smooth, effective and logical flow of work through the press shop. - Ensure continued adherence to H&S and environmental policies. The Successful Press Shop Production Supervisor:- Fundamental understanding of CNC press brakes (Ideally Amada machinery and the accompanying software) - You will have demonstrable production supervision experience, a natural leader. - Customer focused, committed to quality, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques. - You are computer literate and confident using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
