Press Shop SupervisorRugby£36,000 - £37,000 + BenefitsDaysCompany Profile:Our client, a leading manufacturer within their industry are looking for a Press Shop supervisor to join their team. Working within this established organisation, you will be functioning in a world class environment where Quality is of upmost importance.Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will play an integral role in achieving targets for a true market leading company. With a long-established presence within Rugby this is an ideal opportunity for a strong Press Shop Supervisor looking for theirnext challenging position with the backing of a stable and secure business.Role Description:1. Knowledge of welding, Amada & Insert Machines and CNC software 35%2. Undertake quality checking. Operate and supervise CNC punch and press machine. Ensure team train on CNC programming. Ensure the team achieve required output rates. Overtime when required. Perform return to work interviews, Investigatory meetings, Disciplinaryand involvement/input into all PDRs. Coordinate with human resources. 35%3. Responsibility for the Press Shop to ensure the smooth flow of jobs by using good communication and organisational skills. Ensure that relevant quality system procedures are followed. 20%4. Ensures that the companies policies to health,& safety and environment practice are followed 5%5. Keep work areas clean and tidy at the end of each shift 5%Skills and Qualifications:1. Experience of Amada machines and software preferred. Amada AE2610 NT turret punch, HFT50 -20L Press brakes2. Computer literate (Excel, Word,Powerpoint)3. Proven Supervisory experience, Customer focused, committed to quality and continuous improvements4.
