The business provides DVD, Blu-ray and CD replication services to Hollywoodstudios, independent rights holders, software developers and game publishers: Optical Media Manufacturing Services, Custom Packaging, Procurement and dry goods management, Distribution and Fulfilment, Returns Processing, Inventory Control and Management andFreight management services.www.technicolor.comDescriptionResponsible for:- Co-ordination of People and Talent Operational Generalist activities- Providing first line query support to staff and be a regular presence in the warehouses- Providing support with employee relations activities, e.g. preparing letters, taking meeting notes, booking meetings and helping with basic process & policy guidance- Liaise with Global People Services via ticketing system- Training support- Providing relevant advice to line managers- Undertaking any other duties as requested commensurate with the role- Ensuring the People team provides a first-class service to the businessReporting structureThe People Partner Advisor reports directly to the People Partner Manager.Major accountabilities / Areas of responsibilities1. First Line Query Support- Provide in-person first line support to employees within HES, particularly those without access to email.2. Reward and Recognition- Promote and administer the recognition policy (vouchers) and Gratitude Project (thank you cards) to encourage the reward of outstanding performers- Manage Long Service Awards - write letters, create certificates, obtain director signatures, frame certificates. Add long service payments to payroll tracker3. Absence Management- Ensure correct certification for absences- Support line managers in the management of individuals including return of long-term absentees- Coordinate occupational health and group income protection referrals- Undertake home visits accompanied by controllers / managers as required- Maintain Kronos and management reporting of absence4. Employee Relations- Support line managers with the investigation, disciplinary and grievance processes- Conduct maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave meetings- Note-taking within Your Voice employee consultation forum meetings- Support line managers with Flexible working hour requests- Support redundancy consultations- Support the welfare of employees and liaise with EAP- Log all file notes and maintain disciplinary records- Assist hourly workers with accessing OKTA via the kiosk situated in HR- Update HRTV and submit to People Partner Manager for approval before publishing- Induction and exit interviews- Build relationships across the company with all levels of staff- Interview support with hiring managersProfileKnowledge requirements- Good understanding of HR practices- Good understanding of employment law- Databases, Kronos and Bradford Score knowledge preferable.- Previous HR experience within a team environment, preferably within a distribution / manufacturing environmentPersonal skill requirements- Strong communication skills (on different levels) both written and verbal- Relationship builder / collaborative- Enjoys interaction in person as well as via Teams and Email- Excellent attention to detail- Strong self-organisation skills- Attitude of continuous improvement- Motivated and self-driven- Good time management skills- Results driven- Team player- Discrete / confidentialQualifications- Good standard of education- Qualified or part-qualified in CIPDJob Offer- Free parking- Subsidised canteen- Free Employee Assistance Programme- Free life assurance- Employer pension contribution- Cycle to work scheme
