Job Description

Are you a Parts advisor looking for a new challenge Do you have experience within a parts department Do you have great attention to detail Then this may be the role for you.Spares and Service Advisor RugbyPermanent£19,500K P.A.BonusMonday to Friday 8:30am till 17:30 pm (1 hour lunch break).Onsite Free parking.The Role. We are looking for a Parts and Service advisor to work within the client’s existing management team with a view to supply spare parts, consumables, and services to new and existing customers. The aim of the role is to ensure that the sales of service and spare parts are maximised and the customers are developed to their full potential whilst ensuring that the company continues to operate in a cost effective and profitable manner.Typical duties would include:

  • Accurately process spare parts and consumables orders accurately to the customers specifications
  • To process service requests from customers accurately
  • Update customers on back-order processes and chase suppliers
  • To maintain and improve standards of behaviour and customer service whilst answering or re-directing incoming telephone calls from customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • To promote and develop the sale of spare parts and service contracts in line with company targets and forecasts.
  • To offer technical assistance and assist customers with spare parts identification.
    • Other duties also include:
  • To record, investigate and resolve customer complaint and invoice queries whilst protecting and promoting the client’s customer service profile.
  • To administer incoming credit card and customer payments.
  • To book hotel accommodation, flights and car hire for field service technicians, management, and directorial teams
  • To accurately prepare and deliver quotations in keeping with requested deadlines.
