Job Description

Laser Test EngineerRugby£31K - £33K (DOE)0830 - 1730 Mon - Thur and 0830 - 1300 on FridayPermanent JobSTOP : PLEASE READ JOB ADVERT FULLY BEFORE APPYINGWe are looking for an experienced test engineer with knowledge of laser systems (either practical or theory) to start a permanent job at a busy electronics engineering company in Rugby.Its a key role for my client and one that will involve you partially assembling and testing YAG and solid-state laser systems within a clean room lab environment.This will involve you using testing systems, working towards quality standards, troubleshooting any electrical issues, analysis of data, using measuring instruments and follow a process.Its an in-depth role that requires extremely good attention to detail and a process driven mindset but if you have that, then its a seriously interesting role if lasers are your thing.What skills / experience do I need

  • Solid background in some form of electronic testing.
  • Knowledge of YAG or solid-state lasers.
  • Analytic mindset and someone who can follow a process.
  • Great eye for detail.
  • Someone who is local to Rugby (we are not looking for re-locations and offer no form of sponsorship)
