We run our business by these values and they are reflected in all of our roles but particularly newly created roles like our Hub, Systems & Yard Controller.Job purpose:To manage and control the Hub Inbound and Outbound Functions using the sorter systems and Yard systems with the support and guidance of the Hub, Systems and Yard Manager. Ensure productivity levels, compliance and shift costs are managed in line with KPI’s and budgeted targets. Achieve maximum throughputs using best practices, high levels of staff training and operational understanding. You will be monitoring a live view of the systems to ensure all KPI’s and SLA’s are met.About the Role:Whilst on shift you will be responsible for managing the Assistant Controllers who will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound operations including throughputs, parcel presentation, productivity levels and achievement of forecasted CPU against budgeted targets.You must be an experienced people manager and be comfortable analysing data and creating reports on required aspects of the business whilst responding and resolving any queries from Client Managers.You will support the Hub, Systems & Yard Manager with all H&S, hygiene and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work in your areas whilst promoting and driving consistency to ensure the delivery of excellent operational standards.This is a shift based position and you will rotate across a 6:00am - 2:30pm,2:00pm - 10:30pm and 22.00 - 06.30 shifts.This role will also include working 1 in 3 weekends.Experience/Qualifications:
