Hardware Engineer/DesignerWarwickshireSalary - up to £40k DOEOptima are currently recruiting for a Hardware Engineer to join a global business based in Rugby. Based at the firms UK head office this role is commutable distance from Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. The business is the market leaderwithin its field, they are an industry innovator and operate on a global basis.The Hardware Engineer, will be involved with designing, developing and maintaining electrical and fluidiccontrol systems, machinery and equipment.The Role Customer specifications knowledge. Prepare the controls architecture. Prepare Approved Components List. Configure processing system layout with controls architecture. Design circuit diagrams, Interconnections, Tools and Grippers, BOMs, spare and long lead parts lists. Documentation for installation team. Design and calculation for sizing of the main energy sources of the plant. Lessons learnt are being followed up and introduced on future projects. Be able to support all Controls project technical issues.The Candidate: EPLAN or Other E-CAD Skills Energy Power supply Calculation Thermal Cabinet Calculation Cable Calculation Electrical scheme design Bill of materials for applications. Sequence diagram integration with mechanical, and fluidic components Risks Analysis;Minimum Qualifications Required:Professional Qualifications: Electrical - Automation & ControlsExperience related to automation industry or car manufacturing company is preferred
