Job Description

A prestigious banking client I am working closely with are looking for a Data Strategy lead to work on a greenfield initiative to improve the usage of data across the organisationThis identified individual will leverage their knowledge and expertise to drive the delivery of the Data Strategy across all aspects of the data lifecycle and services.Key Requirements:

  • Experience leading a team delivering data projects or programmes
  • Experience setting up a new data programme and developing new data delivery reporting and benefits tracking
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, scope and develop data solutions
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and solution scoping
  • Experience delivering cultural change activities with regards to encouraging and support the development of data uses and experience across an organisation
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to describe technical solutions to non-technical colleagues
  • A good understanding of, and experience applying, project management principles to new data services work
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of data related regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and issues within the Data Governance and Analytics landscapes
  • Experience working in regulated frameworks, ideally financial services
  • Experience working with cloud environments & components (e.g. on Google Cloud Platform or equivalent)
