Kneesworth House is a 155 bed mental health hospital situated in Cambridgeshire (on the borders of Hertfordshire) with good commuting access to / from London. The hospital has a full pathway of care including medium secure, low secure, locked rehabiltation and open recovery wards situated across the site.The postholder will be based initially on Nightingale Ward which is a 17 bedded Locked Rehabilitation Ward which embodies the recovery principles to support service users to regain and enhance strengths to work towards a life outside of hospital.To provide clinicalcare and leadership of the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, this includes visibility and role modelling to the nursing team. The post holder will have responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of clinicalcare. The role will act as a senior clinical member of the team, providing advice, support and direction from a nursing perspective and oversee and hold responsibility for the ward environment, staffing and resources.
