Youll ensure your team are informative, engaging and know how to promote our membership with oursupporters and cause at heart. You will work in a busy environment and will inspire and motivate your team leading them alongside the Welcome Manager to achieve high performance. This impressive mansion and home farm is the only National Trust property that manages all its visitor attractions and activities in-house. Visitor numbershave increased rapidly in recent years and Wimpole is regarded as one of our most successful properties in terms of growth and innovation. As a charity, every penny we raise goes back into our continued conservation helping us to care for and look after our special places and spaces.As the supervisor for the visitor welcome team, youll lead by example,to ensure everyone feels welcome, creating an exceptional service culture, coaching and supporting your team alongside the welcome manager to deliver an outstanding, tailored and relevant service and experience to your visitors. You will seize all opportunitiesto grow our income at the visitor welcome centre, from promoting the benefits of our membership, and through fundraising. Our role is truly exciting and diverse: youll work with the Welcome Manager to enable the team to achieve membership, fundraising andservice targets as well as working alongside the team leading by example and role modelling best practice.Youll be responsible for the presentation of the visitor reception and making sure the team is always aware of whats happening at the property (that your visitors can enjoy) so that you and your team are always able to help your visitors get the most outof their time at Wimpole and enjoy their day their wayAs a team, youll tell your visitors about the amazing work we do and what their money is funding.You will share duty manager responsibilities for Wimpole Estate on a rota basis and you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays to reflect business need.Internally this role is called Visitor Experience Officer.Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert.
