Title: Children/Young People Support workerLocation: Meldreth (South Cambridgshire/ North Hertfordshire border)Salary: Day Shifts: £17, 745-£19,670 OR Night Shifts: £20, 475-£22, 400Hours: Avg 39 hours per weekWhere Will You Be WorkingWe are searching to build our family of caring staff within our school and residential home for children and young people with highly complex learning difficulties. Our students are aged from 6-19 and may have conditions associated with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, degenerative conditions or autism. We offer specialist facilities to our students, alongside surrounding them with a highly skilled support team of teaching, care and clinical staff. We strive to offer a holistic care package to our students which considers the physical, emotional, social, medical, sensory and therapeutic needs within an educational setting.What Will You Be Doing Day To DayNo two days will be the same! You will be supporting our students with their safety, comfort, education and wellbeing whilst developing meaningful relationships along the way. You will help our teachers to recognise our students strengths and weaknesses and provide unique and memorable experiences during their educational hours. Outside of school hours you will support our students with building friendships, exploring new interests, engaging with after school activities and of course ensuring they are happy, healthy and safe. Due to the complex health needs of our students you will help with feeding, personal care, hygiene and toileting. You will be a vital part of our family and will help us to continue delivering high levels of care to our young people.Benefits:
