Job Description

An innovative international business based in Royston are looking for a Goods-In Warehouse Operative to join their busy team who have been working solidly throughout the pandemic.Goods-In Warehouse Operative - Job OverviewAs a Goods-In Warehouse Operative your duties will include;

  • Receive goods at the loading / receiving dock.
  • Work with a logistics team & other teams across their local sites
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
  • Put away received goods promptly on receipt (or after QC check) according to warehouse management strategy.
  • Pick kits for production.
  • Replenish stock.
  • Undertake physical inventory counts and update in ERP.
  • Deliver materials across the site and (driving van) to local satellite sites (all within mile).
  • Process transactions accurately in ERP / WMS.
  • Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment.
    • Goods-In Warehouse Operative - Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • IT skills (data entry and analysis) highly desired.
  • ERP (ideally SAP including SAP WM) highly desired.
  • Previous experience in a similar role essential.
  • Counterbalance Forklift desirable.
