Job Description

Industry: ManufacturingRate: From £12.80 per hour (PAYE)Duration: 6 months+This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Coordinator to join a highly successful manufacturing business based in the Royston area.Due to a recent re-structuring, this 6 month contract position has become available and has the potential to lead onto a permanent position towards the end of the yearService Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • The Service Coordinator will be working within the Service and Maintenance teams, scheduling work and call outs for Technicians, and creating time & cost quotations for Customers and Distributors
  • Diary management for the above, along with regular liaising between Project Managers, Technical Support Engineers & Team Leaders, Technicians, Customers and Distributors.
  • Raising tickets, generating break-fix, training and service quotations
  • Be involved with SAP on a daily basis - Running business simulation within the SAP test system.
  • General housekeeping within requirements
    • Service Coordinator Requirements:
  • Previous experience of scheduling and quotation, along with planned preventive maintenance (PPM) scheduling
  • Experience working in a similar environment (manufacturing, engineering, production, service etc)
  • Any SAP experience would be very beneficial
  • Strong IT skills (MS Dynamics, Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
