Summary Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Service Assistant plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service. Visitor numbers have increased rapidly in recent years and Wimpole is regarded as one of our most successful properties in terms of growth and innovation. As expected for such a popular location, work at Wimpole is fast-paced, but as part of the team you’ll enjoy flexible working conditions.Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing Visitors are a vital part of what we do. As the Service Assistant it’s your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day. In this role, you’ll be;

  • Presentation of the site is paramount to visitors understanding that we are a charity and that we care about our place and we want them to support us in our work – champion this by doing daily site walks to keep things looking their best, this might include litter picking, signage cleaning and alterations, and highlighting things that require attention.
  • Work alongside a team of support volunteers to help with tasks, being available wherever the visitor need is greatest
  • On the ground champions for brand guidelines, Visitor Journey Framework and visual identity
  • Supporting visitor Welcome when required by having inspiring conversations with our visitors and members, and setting them up to have an incredible day.
  • Be an Access champion – highlighting concerns around access and looking for solutions across the estate.
  • Supporting with events, programming and fundraising
