Job Description

TEC Partners are working with a leading biotech company who are recruiting for a Sales Specialist in the Sample Management market. Making the products that transform the way scientists work, the company provides leading sample preparation and managementsolutions to help accelerate research across the world. Collaborating closely with customers and delivering personalized solutions for any challenges in the lab, they are aiming to make a real difference in research for human health.The role will be part of the European Sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales Europe. As a Sales Specialist, you would contribute to the running of Tubes Handling sales and business operations in Europe and deliver specialist support to sales channels(50%) and inside sales on Sample Management line (50%).The role will include some traveling in the region (up to 25%).Sales Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Product support to market development and sales of their Sample Management products into the protein crystallization, genomics, and drug discovery markets across Europe.
  • Remote selling, including calling existing and potential new customers.
  • Identifying and proactively reaching out to prospective customers to generate demand for Sample Management solutions.
  • Delivering Inside Sales revenue targets and profitability for consumables and instruments product lines assigned, regularly monitoring targets and KPIs.
  • Delivering administrative support including generating quotes, updating CRM etc.
  • Collaborating closely with the global sales, marketing, and product management teams.
Role Deliverables:
  • Develop and lead the Product Strategy according to the priorities of the Company and ensuring regular liaison with the European Sales Manager.
  • Proposing the strategy, the action plans as well as developing the sales tools necessary for the internal and external promotion of relevant products.
  • Providing specific product support for their Sample Management product line (application, complex sales), both internally and externally.
  • Running Inside sales by building a consultative relationship with customers by a structured commercial approach based above all on the accumulation of the maximum of information to propose the most adequate solution and developing reference customers.
  • Ensuring continuous training and maintaining the skills of the companys and partners sales forces on its product ranges and linked market and setting the necessary training tools.
  • Maintaining as an expert the optimal level of product and market knowledge.
  • Supporting the technical response to the tender managed by territory managers.
  • Working with CRM as central tool for all the support and sales activities.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience in a sales specialist capacity is required. Preference given to selling expert of automated Sample management technologies and familiar with Lab Automation European market.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline, background in Life sciences is a mandatory.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% across Europe.
  • Familiar with CRM use as central sales tool.
  • Established network across Europe.
  • Proven success and ability to develop business.
  • Ability to conduct presentations or complex demonstration in front of varying audiences.
  • Autonomy, team spirit and remote work capabilities.
