Job Description

Background and Description:Our client is an innovative and fast-growing company which designs, manufactures, and supplies products to the construction industry. They supply Tier 1 construction companies and contractors and now require a full time Sales Estimator Executive as theycontinue to grow. This is a full time, office based position.The Sales Estimator role is a responsible and busy post in the sales team. Focusing mainly on the ROOBOX product group, this role will be critical to their early involvement and specification in construction projects throughout the UK and Ireland. This roleconsists of handling new enquiries from tier 1 UK construction companies, working through the CAD drawings / models with a view to providing a quotation. The role will also involve entering up of project information on their HubSpot CRM, following up of quotesand tracking projects through to a stage where they can be passed over to a project manager. This role will include liaising and working alongside the sales and marketing departments and reporting to the Product group Manager. The suitable candidate will beorganised, self-motivated and must have some understanding of construction, including being able to understand construction drawings and models.Responsibilities:

  • Customer sales enquiries
  • Responding to incoming customer enquiries via email and phone quickly and efficiently
  • Reviewing of information provided and request of extra information as necessary
  • Helping the customer with product selection and provision of quotation
  • Using excellent product knowledge to give confidence to the customer
  • Entering all quotes and activities on HubSpot with follow-up tasks
  • Follow up of quotations and opportunities
  • Management of follow-up tasks on HubSpot
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Candidates will have a range of GCSE / A Level results which show passes in English and or Mathematics at the lower level as a minimum
  • Have previous experience working with construction drawings and federated models
  • Be proficient in Microsoft apps
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be confident in speaking to customers on the phone
  • Be able to touch-type
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Be willing to learn and be part of a team
  • Have had some commercial experience
  • Have a can do’ attitude
