Job Description

    • Sales Administrator
      • Job Type: Part-time (26 hours per week)
      • Location: Hybrid (min 3 days at Royston office, max 2 days home working)
      • Salary: Competitive
      We are seeking a diligent Sales Administrator to join our team. The role involves processing customer orders, ensuring timely delivery, and managing stock levels. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and play a key role in maintainingefficient sales operations. Day to Day of the Role:
      • Process customer orders using Sage and third-party logistics provider’s platforms.
      • Ensure all orders are delivered in full and on time, matching proof of deliveries to customer orders.
      • Raise and disseminate customer invoices and credit notes, and send out monthly statements.
      • Proactively contact customers with overdue payments and update internal stakeholders.
      • Reconcile stock reports and place purchase orders with suppliers, monitoring delivery dates.
      • Ensure accurate recording of shipment paperwork and stock input into Sage.
      • Complete various administrative tasks including annual levy returns, monthly forecast sheets, and inventory reports.
      • Update cash flow for expected customer payments and manage phone and IT contracts.
      • Oversee technical enquiry line and provide support to the Home & Garden subsidiary as required.
      • Perform credit control duties and manual stock adjustments as necessary.
      Required Skills & Qualifications:
      • Previous experience in a Sales Administrator role is desirable.
      • Familiarity with Sage is an advantage but not essential.
      • High level of personal organisation and meticulous attention to detail.
      • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
