Job Description

Production & Despatch Supervisor - Job OverviewAs a Production & Despatch Supervisor your duties will include;

  • Managing a team
  • Prioritising workflow and creating despatch lists
  • Troubleshooting any issues or problems within the operation
  • Internal liason with other departments to ensure that all orders are despatched on time and in full in line with specified targets
  • Attending daily production meetings
  • Planning and running regular stock-takes
  • Assisting with despatch and loading of vehicles
  • Communicating any failures to meet deadlines to the relevant internal departments
  • Managing queries
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times
    • Production & Despatch Supervisor - Skills & Experience Required
  • Despatch/Goods out within an FMCG environment
  • Supervisory experience is essential
  • Print experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, able to provide a high level of customer service
  • An excellent problem solver with good attention to detail
  • Numerate
  • Computer literate with database experience
  • Good at problem solving and exploring solutions and process improvements
  • Must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude and a positive approach
  • Able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
