Job Description

Protocol Education are working closely with a Nursery in Fowlmere to recruit a Level 2 Nursery Asssistant on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate would beavailable to start immediatelyand work until the end of August, with the potential to extend.The Nursery has 2 classes from ages 2-4 that use the UK EYFS curriculum as a guide. They highlight the importance of a childs attitude to learning and their ability to play, explore and think critically about the world around them.The three characteristics are:

  • Playing and Exploringchildren investigate and experience things, and have a go
  • Active Learningchildren concentrate and keep on trying if they encounter difficulties, and enjoy achievements
  • Creating and Thinking Criticallychildren have and develop their own ideas, make links between ideas, and develop strategies for doing things.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5 or 9-6 on an alternative weekly basis.The nursery day is structured to include free flow and focused activities. These are designed to prepare the children for school life. The purpose of free flow activities is to support and encourage children to make their own choices and to be independentlearners. Children learn best when they are given autonomy to make choices.We can offer you:
