Job Description At Skycraft Propeller, we take pride in continuous evolution. The driving force behind our business activity is a skilled and dedicated team. As a Defence Contractor, we are searching for a qualified Project Manager to help us supervise a major new 10-yearcontract. The ideal candidate will have engineering experience and strong skills in developing and managing contract requirements within the aviation sector, or a closely related engineering/manufacturing organisation.As our Project Manager this role will be to coordinate contract requirements to ensure that our propeller products and support activities are delivered on time and all performance requirements are met. You will be the main person responsible for everythinginvolved with the contract including the completion of propellers and services on time and within budget.You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting updates regularly to the customer, ensuring that our performance goal is being well managed.The requirements, skills and qualifications required include;o Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with grade C or above in 5 subjects including English and Maths, with a demonstrable ability to obtain or sustain project management qualification.o APMP / Prince2 or equivalent qualifications are desirable (but not essential).o Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).o Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.o Competent in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project Management applications such as monday.como Attention to detail and good organisational skills with strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.o Excellent presentation skills with experience of writing reports and other project documents.o An interest in aviation, historic aircraft and the military would be of benefit (but not essential).o Proven success working with all levels of management and previous Defence experience or Military service experience would be of benefit (but not essential).
