Job Description

Due to business growth, we are currently looking for Production Operatives to join our busy team in Royston!The successful candidate will be trained in all areas of the metallic insulation department including training to operate spot and poke welders, cutting insulation material, hand dressing techniques using hammers and mallets, hand trimming of thin gaugemetals and manufacture parts on numerous jigs.Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.Salary: from £11.00 per hour up £14.31 per hour depending on experience.Production Operative Duties:

  • Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards
  • General housekeeping of the work area
  • Achieve company work & quality standards
  • Participate in team-based activities
  • On completion of the standard training programme, show competence in performing operations, in accordance with the company grading system
Production Operative Requirements:
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
  • Previous experience of working within an assembly environment and / or metallic insulations (Advantageous)
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (Advantageous)
  • Ability to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely
  • Good timekeeper
  • Health & Safety conscious
  • Team Player
  • Flexible (overtime when required)
  • Willing to engage in continuous improvement activities
