Job Description

Background and Description:Our client is an innovative and fast-growing company which designs, manufactures, and supplies products to the construction industry. They supply Tier 1 construction companies and contractors and now require a full time Operations Manager as they continueto grow.The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising all aspects of the manufacturing process within the organisation. This position requires a strong combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to ensurethe efficient and effective production of goods while maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with various departments, including production, logistics, quality control, and maintenance, to achieveoperational excellence and meet the business objectives and growth plan.As Operations Manager you will be responsible for Purchasing, Planning, Compliance and Production Planning personnel.Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • A degree in manufacturing, engineering, business management, or a related field would be an advantage but not essential
  • Proven experience in manufacturing operations management in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience in sheet metal engineering is an advantage
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
