Role: Lead Finance Business Partner Contract length: 6 MonthsLocation: Royston (2-3 days onsite) & home working Daily rate: up to £500 UmbrellaExciting interim opportunity for an experienced Lead Finance Business Partner to work for a leading organisation based in North London. You are required to achieve a fully integrated business partner relationship across all areas of the UK Refining business, supporting the business to drive improved business performance and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Lead UK Finance Business PartnerWork with the UK Refining business to ensure accurate financial forecasts are used for reporting purposes. Provide financial insight for the business and senior management to ensure variances are clearly understood to enable decision makingProvide the inputs and support for the IBP process for Refining UK whilst providing robust challenge to assumptions and workings to create a well understood financial forecastResponsible for the narrative around monthly financial performance, outlining key business drivers and variances to forecast, budget and last year. Lead the budgeting process for the UK Refining business. Ensure there is a detailed budget which allows the business to deliver on its strategic goals and is clearly understood by senior managementEnsure that a costing process for UK Refining is established and maintained.Important that complex operational processes are clearly understood and built into these models with the outputs helping to shape regular discussion and review with commercialProvide technical expertise, insight and challenge in order to complete the required business cases for capital investment within the relevant businessesDevelop the UK Refining Business Partner role(s) to ensure that they are able to provide support, challenge and insight to managers within the businessExperience required for this role:Fully qualified Accountant ACMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalentSignificant post-qualification experience in a large commercial organisationExperience of working with large amounts of complex data to provide a concise analysisKnowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes and tools - improvements and best practiceNeeds to be able to quickly learn ways of working across a matrix organisation to maintain and improve processes and tools in forecasting, budgeting and reporting and to provide information & support on analysis and decision-makingExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailConfident managing and collaborating with different stakeholdersExceptional communication skillsExcellent IT systems knowledge and experience -ERP (SAP)If you are interested in becoming part of this growing success story please submit your CV now to be considered for the position.
