Job Description

Head of Data, Integration and Low Code PlatformsInside IR35Hybrid working (2 - 3 days a week in the office)Royston, Hertfordshire6 Months initially with scope for extension My client a top company is currently looking to recruit a Head of Data, Integration and Low Code Platforms to join its team on a contract basis. This role will be working to a hybrid working model going into Royston offices a couple of times per week. Pleasenote that this contract is inside of IR35 and will have to be set-up as Umbrella/PAYE. Our client are The Head of Data, Integration and Low Code Platforms leads a team of data, integration low code engineers delivering value adding data analysis and reportingservices and leading the underpinning data and integration platforms. Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement strategies and processes to ensure the effective use of data and integration to achieve business outcomes
  • Construct, prioritise and manage a strategic transformation roadmap of data, integration, low code and analytics initiatives
  • Work with Solution Architecture to develop and maintain the technology roadmap for the integration and data platforms and technologies
Platform Leadership
  • Plan and lead engineering activities for strategic, large, and complex programmes
  • Demonstrate the art of the possible and drive adoption, to leverage the platform to its full potential
  • Keep up to date with the latest Platform trends and manage technical debt.
  • Build high-quality and secure data pipelines and integration solutions driving analytic solutions with a deep understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, reporting, and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of data pipelines and integration through different data layers (ingest, data transformation, reporting). Develop and maintain automated data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing systems
  • Accountable for providing an operational service to agreed service levels; create strong working relationships and processes with the IT Operations team to ensure there is an end-to-end service
  • Identify, sponsor and deliver maintenance activity and efficiency opportunities for the platform
  • Manage effectively any supplier contracts associated to the platforms
  • Accountable for the financial management of the relevant budgets including driving ongoing efficiency savings
  • Direct the implementation, rollout and benefits realisation of new data engineering and integration capabilities
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all data systems, processes, and workflows
  • Act as the escalation point for major operational issues
