Job Description

Do you have a passion for fabrications and production If so, you might be the perfect fit for our dynamic team in Royston! We are seeking a Fabrications Production Operator who can bring efficiency and quality to our projects.As a Fabrications Production Operator, you are responsible for fabricating various parts using jigs, fixtures and manual methods of production. You will also manufacture ducts, vanes, details and other sheet metal components, ensuring they conform to bothcustomer requirements and company procedures. One of the tasks you will perform is abrasive blasting of aerospace components, which is a process of removing surface contaminants and preparing the parts for further processing. In addition, you will accuratelyinterpret and complete production route cards, which are documents that specify the sequence of operations and quality checks for each part.Fabrications Production Operator Requirements:

  • Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely
  • Sheet Metal experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • H & S conscious
  • Team Player
  • Flexible (overtime and shift patterns when required)
  • Willing to engage in Continuous Improvement projects
  • Willing to cover in other areas when required.
