This position has full range of authority to steer direction of the electronics design process within a worldwide leader in high value instruments. This would suit an experienced electronics engineer who still wants to be involved in hands on technicalwork (70% of your time) but is also interested in leading a team of 3 and being involved in wider business decisions.Around 6 product releases/updates are scheduled for the next 12 months with lots of opportunity to play a key role their development. The products can be in operation for up to 10 years so the emphasis is very much on creating very strong, robust designs thatwill stand the test of time. The company have recently moved into a brand new facility with a huge R&D lab space for electronics engineers to play in. They operate a hybrid work policy, after an initial training period you can work from home for 2 or so days per week where the work permits.You dont need previous management experience, although it will help. The company are also looking for a full time, hands on electronics engineer.Its a great time to join the company as they are in a very strong position.
