EC&I Construction ManagerRoyston, Hertfordshire (on-site)circa £800 per day6 months contract5 days a weekWe are actively seeking an EC&I Construction Manager who will be responsible for construction planning, client CDM representative, site control and inductions, constructability, review, installation quality, control, temporary works, and site facility ownershipfor the supervision and coordination of projects.Your responsibilities:* Construction supervision of plant projects. You will ensure timely construction of projects, to agreed manning budgets, and to the quality requirements.* Ensure adherence and generation of Site procedures and Ways of Working for achieving successful construction quality (QA/QC) and control of the contractor workforce.* Ensure input and commentary to the planning of construction materials ordering, delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment.* Take part in the pre-qualification of sub-contractors to be used on the program.* Maintain good communications with the operations team as well as the wider community to synchronize project delivery and identify specialist resources to complete plant handover/start-up.* Ensure all projects are carried out in accordance with COMAH Industry, the Health and safety standards, and local regulations.* Provide contractor inductions and competency assessments.A couple of things you should know:* Working with Trades Sub-contractors to ensure safe installation* Working with EPC and OEM suppliers to ensure safe constructionDuring an interview, you may be asked about:* QA/QC installation procedure and test plans * H&S legislation * Your knowledge of ATEXDoes that sound like you Then apply now!
